We won! Frank & Mary picked up the Best Horror/Thriller film award at this years Harrogate Film Festival and we are blown away. Thank you to everyone at the festival and we can’t wait to be back so with another tall tale from the Evil Hypnotist. Full list of winners here.
David Troughton and Paul Williams have received Best Actor and Best Director nominations at this years The TV Fest held in Vernon, Canada. Good luck to everyone nominated and we here at Evil Towers can’t wait for the festival.
Frank & Mary picked up an award and three semi-final places at this years Haunted House Fearfest. We won Best Under 20 Minute film and were runners-up in the Best Actor (for David Troughton), Best Script and Best Comedy categories. Thank you so much to the festival team and congratulations to all the other winners and shorts at the festival.

Monday 11th November saw the cast and crew screening of our new short film Frank & Mary. It was an incredible celebration of finishing the film and we got to host the event in the beautiful art deco surroundings of the Everyman Crystal Palace in London. We were joined by our two amazing leads, David Troughton and Roberta Taylor, and many of the cast and crew - including people flying in from Denmark and Germany!
We can’t wait to share Frank & Mary with the world and will now be hitting the festival circuit in 2020, so keep an eye on this site and social feeds for screening info.
The Frank & Mary edit is locked and we enter post production on our latest tale of horror. There is still a lot of work to do but we are very excited to share our suburban take on Frankenstein with you later this year. David Troughton and Roberta Taylor were in back in the studio recording their ADR lines and now the wonderful teams at 5A Studios, Frame by Frame and The Safehouse will produce the sound design, visual effects and score for EHP’s latest.
Our Kickstarter campaign for Frank & Mary has finished and we have hit our target! Frank & Mary will live!!! We are now into the planning phase for our new short film and will be back very soon with more news, so keep it peeled to the website for our very British take on Frankenstein!
